But the big deal floating around is Iverson to the Boston Celtics, Boozer to the 76ers and Szczerbiak to the Utah Jazz. Of course, more parts have to be included, though I couldn't see the 76ers dealing Iverson within their division, even if divisions are almost meaningless. Perhaps they cannot find a Western Conference trading partner.
I'm thinking - It cannot be possible that Philly wants to trade Iverson to the Celtics.

The buzz is that Philly contacted the Celtics to see if there was interest. So it seems to me that they want to get rid of him to anyone who will take him.
I can't believe that Danny would consider bringing him in. He just doesn't seem to fit the direction of the team. If Ricky and Pierce are too much alike... that goes doubly for AI and Pierce.

I read that rumor somewhere else myself. It seems fishy to me that Philly would want Boozer and his 11 mill a year when they have CWebb at the same position making 20 mill a year.

Well, Webber is almost done. So the 76'ers may be thinking about building their team around Iguodala, Boozer, and Dalembert. Iverson is a future Hall of Famer, but he takes way too many shots, and too many bad shots. Its hard to get any type of team flow going when he takes 30 shots a game.
I think Ainge may have an interest in Iverson because obviously, he's a super star type player and he gives his heart and soul while on the court. But it could be possible that Ainge is seeing other trade partners to include in this so that we end up with other players and not Iverson.

I'm listening to WIP the flagship station in philly, and their hasnt been one mention of a trade. In fact the topic of discussion is this brett myers domestic violence situation, and the lack of sensitivity shown by the philles by allowing him to pitch. I'm sure if the rumor had any substance 76ers fans would be burning the phone lines. I'm not holding my breath on this deal.

I was listening to Doc talk to that guy Holley today and they didn't mention anything either. In fact Doc mostly made sense, which doesn't make sense to me at all.

The other rumor I read was Duhon and the #16 pick from the Bulls for our #7. May work if Ainge thinks that the player he is targeting may slip to 16.

But who could that player be? Sene? Rajon? Simmons? Sergio?

7 and Scrubby for Duhon and #16 works for me. Chicago could get two big men and be a EC threat for years to come. I like Duhon's game.
