It doesn't say anything about a Boston Workout. I hope his ankle is better by Monday when he is supposed to work out for us or that he can reschedule. Good to hear King say that he feels he is back.
Jay Williams Sprains Ankle During Friday's Workout With Philly 16th June, 2006 - 8:06 pm FoxSports - Former Duke point guard Jay Williams worked out for the Sixers on Friday. He sprained his right ankle during the audition.
"I think he's back," said Sixers president Billy King, also a former Duke standout. "I'm not saying he's back to the point of when he was drafted, but I think he's back to the level that I think he can play in this league."
Williams already has worked out for Toronto and has visits scheduled with New Jersey, Memphis and Phoenix. He's been training nearly every day for the past 2 1/2 years.
"I think he'll play harder and play smarter," Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks said. [READ]

No problem. I believe Ainge has already seen him workout this past month (hopefully a lot of times) so if he can't work out for us due to his ankle sprain, I don't think its the end of our hopes for him coming here.
He's already tried out for so many teams. This is very encouraging because if this many teams are showing interest in him, there must be a buzz surrounding him that he's really back to playing at a highly competitive level.

It is encouraging to show that he can play and that a lot of teams are interested in him but it worries me because some of those teams may be able to offer more than Danny can. I would hope that Danny will offer the whole MLE. There are probably other teams who can offer the same so then it would be length of contract and best place for him as far as playing that become factors.

Yeah, I'm also worried that we may not land Williams because some other team offers a ridiculously high offer to him.
If Ainge really likes him, though, I say go for it. If he really believes Jay Williams can be the PG who takes us to the promised land, offer the highest bid.
