Man...bad news. Just heard on FSNE that Perk re-injured his shoulder working out today. This time it wasn't Scaly, but he was working out w/ Big Al. He will probably have surgery on Tuesday and be out of action for 3 months.
Hopefully with the surgery they can do something to prevent it from popping back out again.

This is bad news but at least it is the off season and he should be back the beginning of the season. With surgery, hopefully he will be able to go at it without reinjuring it again. hopefully he won't lose any mobility in it from the surgery. Just when things were starting to look up

hopefully it's something that can be fixed with one surgery. i'd be really disappointed if it's something reoccurring

That's my fear, that it becomes a chronic problem. But hopefully all will be well with the surgery and he can step into the starting role this coming season.

Not good, because it will set back his conditioning program. The Celtics have had some very bad luck with the injuries the last year or so.

It was on Celtics. com today. I posted it in the news section and it is on Loy's Place Blog. The Herald and Globe didn't have it but they did confirm it on Celtics.com
