Thats a tough one. Ive got such man-love for both of them, its like choosing which of your kids do you like best? So Alex, I'll choose "They'll both be totally awesome" for $400 please.

I'm not sure about this one. I'm also not liking the thought of "man-love". Not a good visual for me...

I love Perk and think that he is going to be a star center... Perk has a work ethic second to none. Al so far hasn't shown a very strong work ethic... He may surprise us and come in with one next season but I think Perk is going to improve as well. I like Perk over Al if I had to pick just one.

Maybe we should combine them together so we can have an all-star player on our hands?

I'm also not liking the thought of "man-love". Not a good visual for me... If you think the visual is bad, you should experience the smell! *rimshot* Thanks folks, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Thanks folks, I'll be here all week. Try the veal. I would much rather trade the veal for someone who could actually play and not just be an "energy guy" or "good locker room presence".....

I think that Perk will be "better" next year in the sense that he will mean more for the team. Perk will play extended minutes at the center spot and improve his offense a little more as well as grab more boards and continue to get blocked shots, a poor man's Ben Wallace if you will.
Al will progress more I think in his relation to what he did this year. I still think that his role will be a down low scoring option off the bench, not a starter, but will still get minutes. I think his body will be in better shape, more defined etc. and he will shoot better from 10-15 feet. I think that he will HOPEFULLY be more durable, and score better in the post and finish stronger.
I always have thought that big Al would not really "blow up" until his 3rd year. This will be his 3rd year removed from high school. I think he will be humbled coming in, realizing that things have not come as easily as he expected and that he will show massive improvements this year in scoring and rebounding. His defense is a WAYS away though. He may never be a great defender unfortunately. Not like Perk. It always used to get me upset people referring to him as "Springfield bound" AL. He hasn't done a darn thing yet!
I think Al will average 12 points a game next year and like 6 boards off the bench.
Perk I see averaging Jamaal Magloire type numbers, maybe 9 points a game, 9 boards, and 2 blocks, while shooting a good FG%.

I expect both players to improve next year and hopefuly they add atleast 5 minutes more to their playing times. I don't care how many pts or rebs perk puts up as long as he makes a big impact on the defensive end.
Jefferson needs to put his words into effect. If he's working as hard as he said he is then we shouldn't see another dissappointing year out of him. Words mean nothing to me, how about show me improvements in your game?
I got high hopes for Jefferson and I ain't quitting on him until he's wearing another jersey. Until then, I will always be on the Al Jefferson bandwagon.
