at [glow=green,2,300] Today's Game Friday, 7:00pm at Sixers TV: NBALP, FSNE Radio: WRKO 680 AM [/glow] Probable Starters: Celtics: PG Delonte West SG Tony Allen SF Paul Pierce PF Ryan Gomes C Kendrick Perkins Sixers PG-Kevin Ollie SG-Allen Iverson SF-Andre Iguodala PF-Chris Webber C-Steven Hunter Celtics have a chance to play spoiler tonight if they can beat the Sixers. Philly is still very much in the hunt for the 8th playoff spot. A loss tonight could set them back in their bid to retake the spot from Chicago. With Wally out, I expect Doc to start Tony (although he may surprise everyone and stick Green in there). Regardless of who starts, both Allen and Green will get more time on the floor tonight. Hopefully a healthy and exuberant Allen and Green will more than take up the slack for a limping Wally. We need to try to contain Iverson somewhat. I expect Perk to do a decent job on Iggy. We have to guard Korver on the perimeter because he can kill us with 3s if we let him. I probably won't be able to do the play by play till at least half time tonight as I have to go to a thing at my daughter's school. I will be here asap.

Back in time for the second half. Looks like another game with no defense on either side. I have said it before and will keep saying it. Unless this team starts playing defense, we can have all the talent we want and it won't add up to a championship. That is one of the reasons I don't know if Doc is the coach for us. He stated early in the year that he stresses offense in practice because that is the hardest to learn and that the defense will take care of itself because when one team is playing offense in practice, the other is playing defense. I think that is so wrong. You have to teach defensive sets and bring a defensive mindset to the team. We don't play defense because our coach doesn't think it is important enough to stress in practice. Looks like I missed a good first half. I am taping it though and will get to watch it after the game is over. Sorry I missed the play by play for the first half.
