will make a statement about Doc Rivers.......
If the Celtics can go 6 and 5 or better, I would not be opposed to giving him one more chance next year.
If the Celtics continue to falter, losing to teams like the Bulls and the Raptors, I would hand out the pink slip after the Miami game on April 19.
We aren't the most talented team in the EC but we are not the worst either. We should be in a playoff spot but losses to mediocre teams at home and the WAY we have lost those games is indicative of POOR COACHING.
I believe at this point Doc Rivers and the entire coaching staff needs to be replaced, but I am not sitting in Danny Ainge's chair to make that decision.

I agree Q. Doc has lost many of the games for us by using terrible rotations, misusing players and not letting them play to their strengths, poor game strategy decisions, etc. We don't play good defense because in Doc's opinion it isn't as important as offense and so he stresses offense and expects the defense to take care of itself. That is absolutely wrong and we will never have a championship caliber team without stressing defense. Danny may hesitate because of his friendship with Doc, he may hesitate because of the 10Mill left on his contract, but if Danny truly wants this team to progress, he has to forget that and get us a coach who will takes us to the next level. Most of the talent is in place but with all the talent in the world, if we don't have a coach who can use that talent to its fullest, we won't move to the next level.

If the team is improving it might be better to have continuity, but then again Doc makes me want to throw up a lot. It might not be good for young guys to have so many coaches in such a short period of time. Then again Doc is a bad coach. We can't just keep improving a couple wins a year or going in circles. I think next year is his last chance. Technically all the good stuff we see is also a result of Doc. Or maybe DA. I'm not sure how many other great coaches there are out there. They better not get some untested college coach like the coach of Iowa or something. Not Al Skinner either. Maybe if he actually gets to the final four with BC, but not before.

All i have to say is this, if larry brown were the coach we'd be in the playoffs. I'm tired of this team losing because of rivers imcompetence in late game situations. Pierce has been a team player this year, now its time for rivers to take this team to the next level. If we dont make the playoffs next year he must be releved of his duties.
