... but how many games do we win next season? I say, 40. As long as our D doesnt improve, and it has shown 0 signs that it has, this team will be a lotto team next year as well. I do not know why Danny has not done anything yet, but our D is a joke just like our coaching staff. We will continue to suck as long as Doc and co are still around.

With the same lineup, I say we win 40-42 next year, and make a push towards 50 the following year, if everyone could stay healthy enought to actually play together for an extended time. A major acquisition may accelerate that, but right now that is the way I see our progression. We are just too inconsistent at this point to play a strong season from start to finish, but after another year to develop cohesion among our players, and to cut down on the rookie-type mistakes, and we will eventually be a very solid team. We have all the pieces, they just still need to develop both individually and collectively.

45 standing pat with youngsters improving. i still think danny will make some kind of trade. no idea what it could be so can't imagine other outcome. possible partners to deal with: gsw, sea, uta.

I don't expect Danny to stand pat. The kids will improve over the summer. The team will have improved chemistry with a training camp together. But Danny mentioned a need for a scorer off the bench. He will get that either through our draft pick, or through a trade or by signing a free agent. We have a couple big exceptions he can use along with all the picks to make something happen. I expect at least 1 and maybe 2 new players along with an improved core of players coming back.

It depends on how much Perk and al improve next year. Our problem as a team is that we aren't seeing a consistent solid effort in the front court that'll allow this team to be more than a 1st round flounder.
As of right now our starting lineup consistent of two questions marks at the center/pf positions while the others we can already pencil someone in as starters.
What this team needs improvement in order to be a playoff contender:
1.) Al Jefferson to get in shape. Can you name atleast 5 all-stars at PF who weigh 265+lbs? I bet it's less than 1. Jefferson needs to lose around 15-20lbs so he'll be able to rotate better on defense, improve his hops, and possibly have a better chance on shotblocking.
P.S. Please stay healthy big man.
2.) Perks need to improve on controling his fouling. Possibly add more on the offensive end. He's one of the few big man on this team that can change the pace of a game.
3.) Allen and Green step up as the main scorer on the bench.
4.) Sign/Draft a solid back-up pg.
5.) Improve teams defense.

It really hard to tell. This year, several player moved forward (ex: Gomes), and several players fell behind (AJ). Granted, we are already reaping the bene s from the MIN trade, and I am sure w/ a full training camp, we will see even more of them.
