Looks like PP might not have had the 34 option.

We'd be sitting on about 22 championships about now if we had Len Bias.
Taken two from the Pistons, Bulls, and Lakers back in the 80's and 90's.
Man Bird and Bias, Bird and Bias, Bird and Bias.
Look at what we became after Bird, Parish, and McHale stopped walking through that door.

I just hope DA has us on the right track now. The past is past. Just hate to see a kid die (anyone for that matter). Maybe better where he went... ? Life is _____. Fill in the blank.

To me the idea of thinking we drafted Bias is like how I'd feel if I was from Buffalo when I would hear the name "OJ". At least he was acquitted barely. Just goes to prove. There's 9 suckers born every minute and occasionaly they get together to form a jury. Or do coke in Bias' case

The most tragic thing to me about Bias was that they drafted him based partly on his character. He was supposed to be a Christian and according to the reports at the time they were excited about getting a player with his ability with a great character. A lot was made at the time about his being a Christian and being one myself I thought it was great. Then it was announced that he died from a coke overdose. It just was so out of character that it just seemed unreal. Everyone said he never did drugs and was clean all through college and if anything was pretty anti drug. I have always wondered all these years if someone didn't slip him some thinking it would make his celebrating more fun. It just never fit with all we heard about him before he was drafted and all accounts about him afterwards that he would do coke. Still bugs me to this day.

Still bugs me to this day. Me too. Not just because we needed him as a player, more due to his age and for all the kids that have done the same thing that we never here about.

Till this day, I really agree w/ viewers that said Bias would have changed the (NBA) game forever. Though, it incites me till this day that someone would be as ignorant to try a drug like that.
