Mike Gorman was on WEEI today and in spite of Danny's saying that he doesn't expect a trade before the deadline, Mike said he is looking for a quick penetrating point guard and a 6-8 year vet. No names or details just that that is what they are in the market for right now.
He said that Perk may be back Tuesday for the Utah game and that Al should accompany the team on the road trip after the Utah game.
Paul, Wally, Perk, Al and Delonte are the core and are safe from a trade but everyone else is fair game if the right trade comes up.
Also they said that they expect Wally to play tonight.

Also they said that they expect Wally to play tonight. Told you guys. Wally's a warrior. The quick, penetrating point guard, I can believe and see Ainge trying to acquire. (No, we never had that in Marcus Banks) He was quick, and penetrated, but that was it. He never made the players around him any better, and he had 2 1/2 years to prove otherwise but he never did. Brevin Knight, Chris Duhon, anyone??

I'd take Brevin Knight if it doesn't cost us too much $$$ to get him. 1 of the top passer/steals in the league right now.
Duhon would be good as well but I think he might cost us too much to get. He's only in his second season and he's putting same type of numbers that west is putting up (10 + pts 4-5 assist).

I would love to get Brevin Knight. I think he would fit right in quite nicely. We have Kandi's contract and we have picks as well as a couple of exceptions.... We have enough assets to dangle around that we should be able to fill the needs.

I have been thinking for quite some time, that Brevin would be a great pickup. He is just a smart basketball player. I think he is extremely underrated because of his lack of height, but he still manages to put up 7-9 assists a game every year. The guy just makes plays. He would be great for the second unit, or even starting with the first unit, and have Delonte come off the bench as super sixth man.
He could be a great teacher of the game, as well as a solid role model to the rest of the young guys.
I personally would like to see him in a Celts uni.
I could see these trades happening:
-Kandi and a second round pick -Kandi and a lower first round pick -Kandi and 2 second rounders -etc.
Some variations of these trades.
Do any of you think that the deal could be expanded and that T Allen could be included with us getting back G Wallace?
(sorry guys, I never speculate and create trades)
