Now I know I might get bashed for saying this, but I actually have to tip my hat to Doc for getting wins these last two games without Perk and Big Al. Granted, the Jailblazers, and the Magic are not your prototypical powerhouse basketball teams, but Doc coached well considering we were down probably our two best rebounders (not so sure now with Gomes, he may be our second best rebounder behind Perk).
The thing that I feared Doc would do would be to play Scal and Kandi major minutes, and down the stretch as well. Surprisingly, he did not do this. He actually stuck with the starters most of the game, and Gomes in particular, a rookie, played big minutes.
In the past, he would only play Perk and Big Al in stretches, but never extended minutes. But Gomes played starter minutes, and produced. I would have NEVER thought we would have won both of these games, especially how shorthanded we have been, but I must tip my hat to Doc. The offense and the ball movement has been the biggest reason why we have done so well the last 2 games. Now hopefully this keeps up, and when Perk and Big Al come back they can fit right back in with the rest of the guys and win a bunch of more games.

Esco, no regrets or bashing, you get a KP for that.
Doc has coached better than we ever thought. The team is coming together slowly but surely. We are getting good use out of our personnel now.
Wally Z is really going to help this team.
All we have to hope for is that Paul Pierce gets extended this summer.
We should be good to go in November 2006.

As long as Ainge improves our bench we should be fine by November.

I like the fact that our bench is shortening, and Doc is playing Gomes. Solid player.
