Not a great year to draft a PG. Next year, Williams from UCONN will come out, and I like his game.

I would rather see us trade the pick for value if we get one of the top picks. I have already heard rumblings about Chicago trading Heinrich to move up. If we get another PG, unless we could get a Chris Paul, I would rather go for a big man. I have had my eyes on this guy: nbadraft.net/profiles/andreabargnani.aspUnless you get a remarkable talent like Paul, PGs take time to develop (see Billips, Chauncy) It would be nice to pick up a veteran and proven PG with our exceptions or Kandi's expiring contract or picks or any combination there of. If Hinrich is available and we only have to trade our lottery pick then by all means do it. Their isn't one pg in this year draft that I would take over Hinrich.

It would appear that this year's draft is all about "potential". I agree, I am not too impressed w/ the PG' s available in 2006.
