Hey there, Bill. Nice to see you joining in on our conversations. Hope we see you around from now on.
To answer your question, to the best of my knowledge, we get 2 picks this year (our own, and if we decide to exercise the Lakers' pick this year) and we have to give the Hawks (who will then give it to Phoenix because of the Joe Johnson trade) the lesser of our 2 picks. For instance, if we end up getting the 15th and 20th picks, the 20th pick will go the ATL and we keep the 15th.
We can exercise the Lakers' pick next year as well--but for all intensive purposes, we should assume that the Lakers will not be as worse than they are this year.
2006: our own + the Lakers pick (which should be going to ATL)
2007: our own + Cleveland (which can be exercised at a later time*)
2008: our own + Minnesota (which can be exercised at a later time*)
**these picks are protected, but the protection is lessened with each preceding year

Welcome to the mix, or family (as FL12 might say). Nice to hear from you.
I see a trade in the mix including a 1st pick or two. Reaf?

I see "allen" a goner, once they found him guilty.

It would be a serious mistake to give up on Tony Allen. He will not go to jail. He probably will end up in civil court over this.
Tony Allen is an impact player when healthy.

It could be a serious mistake to give up on him. It could be a serious mistake to keep him. I am encouraged that he has been cleared to lift. I didn't know that

I don't think Allen needs to be making visits to schools at this point.
"Don't quit, until legal council has run out of options... "
"When in doubt, bring a thug with a gun..."
This was all a sorta-joke.

Civil court or not, how about the "code of conduct" Ainger preached about?

Tony Allen = Energy player He hasn't done anything to show he would remotely make a huge impact on this team other than a occasional loud dunk.

If we get the top pick in this draft we will be the best team that ever got the top pick with the exception of when the Spurs got Duncan, which was ridiculous

He can play defense and score on hustle plays, fast breaks, driving dunks etc.

Well, if convicted, if DA doesn't move TA, his Code of Conduct was a complete farce.
