Gerald is going to be called up and actually suit up in a Celtics uniform these next 3 games (Clippers, Magic, and Heat). Ainge wants to bring him up once in a while to see how much he's improved and where he stands currently in his development.
I'd love to see him get a few minutes against the Clips, just to see if he's gained any confidence since playing well for the Patriots. Though, if Doc hardly plays Ryan Gomes, who is a more polished wing player, getting our hopes up that he'll play a raw rookie is not a good idea.
Maybe if we are murdering the Clips by 20 pts in the final minutes of the game, he'll play Gerald. Though, we may also see Gerald in garbage time if we are getting hammered.

Unfortunately for Green, most of our games are competitive, so I don't anticipate seing him play. Too bad, I was interested to see how Green and D. Jones were going to fare against one another; IIRC their NBDL teams were going to play one another.

As long as Green makes progress in the weightroom and in the NBDL, I wont care if I dont see him in a C's uni again till next training camp.

I sure hope so. The second unit is in desperate need of scoring and a playmaker. We have to use GG like we used big AL last year. Al's best attribute was scoring. That's what GG is known for as well. We all know he could be and probably is a defensive liability, but he must learn thru playing not wacthing. I think their will be pressure on DOC to at least give him some minutes when the game is at least competitive. I'm all for GG getting some time on the second unit. Tony allen is providing no offensive punch off the bench. Get him in DOC!!!!!!

Long time no see, GC34.
Doc needs to get off his mission of trying to win every game and instead, go with the youth and let them get better this season. The quicker they develop, the quicker we start to make progress as a team.

Well, he got in for the last minute or so against the Clippers. He wasn't shy about shooting the ball. Too bad he didn't hit one. Would have been great for him!!!
