Interesting tidbit on Tyler Cook. He was Tatum's teammate in high school.
I don't know how his perimeter game is, but he's a powerfully built Wing who looks to be 6'8" and can absorb contact on drives. Looks like he can handle the ball some.
I'd try him out at PF.

Also, Jaelen House is Eddie House's son.

Undrafted rookie, Tristan Enaruna (who Brad snatched up right away), has been signed to an Exhibit-10 contract.
Keep your eyes on this guy. He not only physically looks like Tatum (the skinnier version from his early 20's), but his game is similar as well.

Really really interesting pick-up. Very smooth and has pro level polished Offence to my eyes. Wonder what the knocks are on this kid becuz he seems pretty beast. Got me pretty high on him just from this clip: My guess is he can drop those kind of [HASH]s at the G League level but with the right molding just be able to translate that to the big league.

He first played at Kansas (which tells you he has real talent) and then transfered to Iowa State.
For whatever reason he wasn't getting playing time. Only when he transfered to Cleveland State did he finally play and shine.
Maybe he's too skinny. Maybe he lacked confidence at KU.

Just seen some additional info on one of his knocks which is his deep ball consistency.
Just like Tatum.
You were right, Derren. This one got me intrigued.

Shooting can be improved with motivation and lots of quality repetition. Probably won't reach Howzah's level (not many mortals can), but maybe enough to make the team.
His strength is in his slashing. Though slender he likes to knife to the basket.

2nd rd pick Sacto in 2020.
G-Leaguer with OKC who beat us in the 2024 finals. Once dropped 37pts vs the Fakers. P
Lots of bounce at 6'3"

Who do you guys think will shine for our summer league team?
My picks are 1) Davison, 2) Shei, and 3) Walsh.
PG's handle the ball the most so they have an advantage. I'm looking for Davison to be playing for his life.
He'll be followed by Shei. Just drafted he'll be itching to show he belongs. If his shots are falling, he'll put up impressive numbers.
And then I have Walsh. His D and 3 pt shooting (and slashing) will be on showcase.

Young guys need to change the way the play and think. They might have been the lead dog in high school and college -- but if that's not you at this level you need to shift down and learn to excel as a team-first role player.
Jah'mius has some good things to offer -- tough on ball defense, and he's been shooting the three's nicely.
I hope he can find a niche.

I'm hoping Queta really shows out. There is a lot of scoring talent and athleticism on this team. Im really excited.
I hope Jordan breaks out but I want to see what Shei has and Tristan.

Here's an instant reaction after our first summer league game:
There are only 2 guys who have the BBall IQ to play for Mazzula, and they are Shei and A&W (and maybe the plan was to draft high IQ players this draft). These guys can play and fit in.
Jahmi'us Ramsey is worth holding on to. Lots of work to do, but there are parts to work with.
Davison is not a PG -- let alone a good one. His defense disappointed me.
I just don't see it with Queta.
Jordan Walsh has much potential -- but man is he far away.
Springer's on ball defense is stifling -- but he's a wrecking ball on offense (little bball IQ). I have no idea what Brad should do with him.
