Rival teams are trading for, and snatching up, marquee names and adding new players to shore up weaknesses.
All Brad is doing is bringing back the band. 12 out of the 15 players (including Drew Peterson) are returning from last year's title team.
So how do we improve and stay ahead of our competition?
Development.
Develop our rookies (Schei and A&W). Develop the backend of the bench so that they're earning playing time. Develop our main role players so that they're impacting success.
Even DWhite, Jaylen and Tatum can come back better.
Imagine when Kornet, X, and Q are rock solid and reliable Bigs who Mazzula confidentally inserts for matchup purposes.
Or when Howzah, Pritch, and Schei ramp up our bench's scoring.
And as a team we develop into an even more cohesive and unified unit.
And even Joe and his coaching staff develop and make better decisions.
That's how we stay ahead of the curve -- we just develop and get better at what we do.

I want Tatum to be a better shooter. And maybe add a post-up game.

Tatum -- post him up closer to the basket, draw more fouls, less reliant on side step 3s
Jaylen -- become more efficient, find a go-to move
Jrue -- become efven more deadly behind the arc
DWhite -- be more aggressive with scoring
Porzingis -- be more cautious, don't run around so much
Horford -- decrease his minutes
Howzah -- become more effective dribbler, more defensive presence
Pritch -- learn to heave shots from 90 ft
Kornet -- crash the boards, get meaner
X -- stop being Bruce Banner and turn into the Hulk, then smash
Q -- think the game quicker, and work on your hands
Schei -- be a microwave playmaker whenever you're in the game
A&W -- don't think you're good, know that you are good, then be more aggrrssive and assertive.
Peterson -- hustle on D and don't ever miss
