Hey, Horford was drafted with the 3rd pick. The 3rd pick has certainly been good for us 😊👍

So was McHale. And both Tatum and McHale were both picked when we traded out of the [HASH]1 spot.

Another reason I think we can win it all again next year is Joe Mazzula.
Like Brad alluded to in his interview, Joe's motor never stops, his mind is always on. This guy, maybe as much as any player, does not want to lose. He's an ultra competitor. Knowing that he and the team will be marked, I can see Joe already digging in his heels ready to fight.

With teams getting stronger (especially NY, OKC, PHI) and others on the rise (MIN, ORL), not to mention teams who should be a challenge (DEN, MIL), we need to be really strong mentally.
We're returning the same championship core 8 (minus KP early in the season) and not adding a significant contributor.
To one up the competition, we need to be stronger mentally. We did a much better last year not losing games because we played to the level of our competition. But we did fall at times (or at least lost big leads) because we took plays off.
Can't show any kinks in our armor. We need to be a well oiled machine. Attack first, attack throughout, and finish strong. 💪

I'm not sure how much better we can get as far as maintaining our intensity. It's a long season, and it's normal to have a certain number of letdown games. Every team that's ever played has a few. What we did really well, was get right back on course after one of these.

So essentially, you take a championship lineup, minus out Oshae and Svi, add in Scheierman and Watson, and maybe throw in a bit of Walsh.

Am I the only one that sees in Svi what we see in Hauser? I hope the reason we've not heard much about him from the team is because he has plans to go somewhere else and not that we are just letting him walk and are leaving him our of our plans.
Go rewatch some of Svi's highlights with us. We gave him run a few times and he had big minutes.

I likr Svi, too. But he's no Howzah when it comes to shooting lights out. But Svi is more stout of a defender, and he can initiate the offense a tad better.
But his shooting is streaky, and that's how Howzah beat him out.

I respect him as a 15th man, but don't think he adds much. I'm way more interested in Jordan Walsh and Schei.
