2008 I was in shock lol. It was the first time since i was a kid that I got to see one of my teams win. This one is sweeter because i can actually enjoy it. Fresh. ........did you stick with us since you were 13? Have I been a bad influence on you that long? How old were you in 08? I think i was 30 I would've been 28 during the 07-08 title run. Before that I have to go back to the 1991 Twins. |

The Celtics team is so interesting. There's no once in a lifetime freak athlete. There's no outspoken team leader. It's just a collection of really good players that mesh incredible well.

Most happy for Al Horford. One of the classiest players in the NBA. Has been a true professional his entire career and has been so good for the Celtics all these years. Now he's a champion!!

I've been basking in this, watching and listening to all the interviews, reading the articles. I can't get enough. I'm so happy for everyone around the team and all of us who have ridden with them through all the highs and lows.
I only have one small amendment to all the great posts above. While Celtics 18, Lakers 17 is accurate, I prefer Boston 18, LA 12. The Lakers first 5 championships were won when they were in Minneapolis.
