So, I know there have been many WNBA stars since the founding of the League but is it just me or is Caitlin Clark and this current WNBA a dawning of a new era for the Sport? It just seems and feels different to me. Also, shes been getting a lot of hate too and has responded by going out there and really changing the Fever as a team and organization. I think shes really changing Womens Basketball.

I totally agree. Like right now if someone puts a gun to your head and says "One shot for you to either die or get a million bucks and you can either choose Steph from NBA three or Clark with the women's ball from three" you have to think about that right? Like I've seen her make multiple logo shots. I think I'd go with Clark.
I've rarely seen multiple players enter the league at the same time that are all something you'd want to watch. It's not just Caitlyn. It's also Cameron Brink and Angel Reese and they had the benefit of being seen with NIL and they're interacting at the same time with the legendary old guard like D Taurasi.
While watching Iowa's run I felt like that entire team and S Carolina should all be extended G League tryout/workout/combine treatment. Yes I believe it's within the realm of possibility one of them could possibly play an 8th man Peyton Pritchard role.
Or what if they had one month contracts where a G League Team HAS to have ONE woman and PLAY her 10 minutes a night for one month? So she's probably being guarded by the other woman. Would you not watch that? I'm a sucker for spectacle. I'd expect a gladiator to come down and yell "Are you not entertained?~" Because I totally would be entertained.
This is the thing. It's silly to think a WNBA team can beat an NBA team, but I'd like to say this to an NBA team. "You have to play Iowa next week. But this is the thing. You have to play the way you play and they get to play the way they play. So you have to do dumb things like not play defense. Have your 7 footer constantly drift out to the three point line. Jack up a ton of lazy threes. Flop constantly. Stop playing so you can cry to refs on every single trip. You know. You have to play like you play. And they punch you in the mouth for every rebound, never cry, move the ball, fight you every single second of every single minute."
This is the thing. The women are playing like they want it more. It's embarrassing.
Also embarrassing is how they're treating Caitin

The embarrassing thing of this is how they're treating Caitlin. If this were hockey we would all instantly see it. Imagine a nice positive gay atheist black women's hockey player that broke all the hockey records in college and then all of a sudden all the white Christian straight girls were straight up attacking her on the ice, even though she was making them a ton of money they never made before. Write it backwards. That's what's happening. People didn't like it when I said it but it's because it's the WOMMMMEEENNNNN'SSS NBA. I worked in women's dominated fields for years. The way they go at each other can be horrific.

The hate is real!!!
This narrative is a broken record. No one is looking good on the hate side. History will be very unkind to people being mad at Clark for just playing basketball and being good. I am very disappointed how petty these people are being because of media attention. They are not uplifting women's basketball. None of this is Clarks fault and they're blaming her for their own problems. THese people have some serious problems.

I was watching one of the Celtics summer league games and when it went to commercial I flipped over to a WNBA game that Clark was playing in, and I'll tell you, the WNBA game was better basketball. This is NOT to say that the women would beat the men in a head-to-head match-up. That's ridiculous. But the WNBA has become a much more watchable product than it used to be, and Clark is a big part of that. Everyone talks about her shooting, but I think her passing is at least as impressive.
