JT is just one of those players since he came into the league that just continues to be doubted and put under a majority unfair microscope. He's from Duke, He can't shoot the long ball, he is not a Superstar, he's not clutch, he is struggling in the playoffs on a beast team so why is he not looking like Luka? Even questioning if he is the Cs best player and leader.
These critics are just watching the full game highlights it seems. They're missing the nuance. JT is in constant dbl team scenarios. Because of this, I don't even think JT is shooting badly. He is the focus of literally ever teams defense and in the playoffs even moreso. Brown is looking like the best player on the team. And rightly so. Brown, on any other team, is an elite player and [HASH]1 option. Brown has arguably been the best player for the Cs during this stretch of the post season with obviously, White and Jrue being in that conversation due to their consistency anchoring our whole offense. Without their timely Offensive plays, no way JT or Brown are winning a dam thing! I wont even touch on their supreme elite D.
Make no mistake, however, Coach Mazz, JT and Co. are keenly aware he is the focus of the other teams whole defensive gameplan. I think JT is handling such pressure extremely well.
And isn't that what opposing teams do to the other teams best player?
Try playing out of a Playoff level dbl team defense every time down the court and then have to go back and play off position mismatch D on the other teams best player or Center. Then these haters can talk to me about JTs "struggles".

JT's critics will never go away. Washington has critics. Lincoln has critics. Jesus has critics. The Beatles have critics. MJ and Bill Russell have their detractors. But now the critics have to shift. Now they have to shift from "can't win the big one" to....something else. And they have to explain why they would zero in on JT and not Luka or Kyrie. Next time you hear a JT critic make sure to put them in their place and be like "Who's better? JT or Luka?" Make sure to ask them "Ok. So of the players in the league with one ring, who's best? Giannis?" "Hey, is JT on track to be a first ballot HOFer?" "So who are the guys you trade straight up for JT right now?" Then make it sticky. So who goes down as the better player, him or Durant? Durant has two finals MVP's, right? So who's had the better career? Ok, so Karl Malone got stuffed by MJ twice, but got a Dream Team medal. Who's better?
Make sure to put the critic on skates the way the Celtics did to Luka.
