Helluva Game 1. The Wolves just might pull this series off.
Does Anthony Edwards remind anyone else of Jordan? Same body type (although 2 inches shorter), similar athleticism, even walks and moves like Jordan. Has the clutch gene and the killer instinct. This kid is going to be something.

Boy did the Nuggets turn this series around. They double and triple-teamed Edwards, and Jokic was unstoppable in Game 5. If you watch him casually, he doesn't bowl you over with anything he does - except for the occasional pass - but when you watch him for a whole game, or a whole series, you really appreciate just how good he is. On the other side, Edwards is a stud, but he's not getting enough help from his teammates.

This has been such a bizarre series. Minny decidedly wins games 1 and 2 in Denver, looking like the dominant team. Denver responds by handily winning the next 3. Minnesota then somehow reverses tide and embarrasses Denver in game 6.

And then, fresh, Game 7 is a microcosm of the series with the two halves being completely different.
There's something about Anthony Edwards that just makes you want to root for him. I like Luka, but I'll be rooting for the T-Wolves.

God if Minny could've taken just one at home, we'd be looking at a 2-2 series with game five in the twin cities. This series has been such a bummer. I wanted to the Wolves to win mostly cuz they're my home team (and this city is starving for a winner) and it's also my best chance to see a Celtics finals game in person.

If the T Wolves win tonight it could get real interesting. If KAT can just stay away from stupid fouls and keep shooting 3s well ...
On the other side, I don't think I ever realized just how big a complainer Luka is. I find his game fascinating, how he be so effective on offense even though he's slow and can't jump, but he's way too whiny.
