He is definitely impressing me more and more. But 4th best in the east? I don't know about that. Who do you rate above him?
Shaq Ben Wallace Big Z Sam Dalembert(?) Jamaal Magloire
Hmm.. I guess he could be considered the 4th best. But that's assuming that he's going to be better than Eddie Curry, Tyson Chandler, Dan Gadzuric, and Brendan Haywood (got the best of Perk in the last meeting).

I believe he is better than Curry at this point. The only thing that Curry has over him is low post scoring and maybe free throw % (haven't checked it) Perk is the better defender, rebounder, shotblocker.
Perk is better than Chandler. No other comment.
Brendan Haywood is a very underrated center. Can't honestly say Perk is better than him at this point, although Perk does a lot more things better, but Haywood always seems to match up well with him.
Gadzuric is a decent player. Perk is better.
Shaq is obviously better. In 3 years, Shaq will be out of the NBA though.
Samuel Dalembert is a better shotblocker, more athletic in the Theo Ratliff mold. Perk is a better rebounder, and stronger in the post. Close to call.
Big Z has more talent, but he is old. In 2 years, he may be out of the league.
Magloire is better right now. This is the guy that I liken Perk too a lot as well, except Perk has no jumper. But I see the future of Perk to be a cross between Magloire and Big Ben.
Big Ben is better right now.
My prediction is that in the future, Perk can be a top 5 center in the East , maybe top 3.
Right now, he is more like top 10 until he proves himself.
