Perkins was an absolute monster last night. Statement game perhaps since Blount was gone, Perk was staking his claim as the C's center of the present and future. Still that was a very impressive performance by Perk. He set the tone and for a large stretch there was involved in every single play and was the most dominant player on the floor. It's too bad he couldn't get back in down the stretch though.

I love this kid. I have been on Perk's bandwagon since we drafted him. I am really glad he is getting playing time finally. I agree that I would have liked to see him get back in down the stretch just to reward him for all the hard work in the beginning of the game. Doc said it was because Al was playing so well. I think Doc is still stuck on that don't play Al and Perk together thing. he could have come in very easily and played WITH Al. They proved when they did get a chance to play together that they did so quite well. I guess Danny is going to have to trade every Big except them to get him to play them together.

When I had compared Perk to a young Big Ben, some people thought I was crazy. Actually, at this stage of his career, he is better than Ben Wallace was. Perk is developing nicely. I have always liked Perk since the draft day trade. It is funny, because I remember that draft sitting and watching it with my friend. I had wanted us to get both Banks and Perkins. With most high schoolers, it takes a few years of playing time and maturation, (normal high schoolers, not Bron Bron, Amare) I am not saying Perk will be as good as Big Ben, but he will be a force. The guy can score down low, rebound, defend, block shots. Even his passing out of the post has really improved. The guy has a set of hands as well. These things are basically everything you would want out of your starting center. I really believe he has A LOT more room to improve. Right now the sky is the limit for him. It's up to him how hard he works, and up to this point he has been an extremely hard worker. I am just excited to see him and Big Al progress together. Hopefully they will be Celtics for a long time to come, and together help us put some more banners in the rafters.

Watching Perk now is so satisfying. I remember when he first came in the league and didn't even look like he belonged in the NBA. His progress is a tribute to his work ethic and "coachability". When Jim O'Brien was here, I remember the one thing he said about Perk was how hard he worked. O'Brien had told him that he needed to work on his left hand. I guess about 2 or 3 days later, Perk was in practice consistently hitting left handed hooks. I believe that his work ethic and positive attitude has rubbed off on Jefferson. Jefferson was quoted in the Boston Globe today as saying that "Blounts negative attitude never rubbed off on him". I do believe that part of that is Perk's influence, and with all his ability, a Perk like work ethic is all that's needed to become an incredible player.

I need a Kendrick Perkin Jersey. This kid is an absolute stud and I complete we're fortunate enough that he is panning out for the Cs.

I'm starting to become a believer ;D I felt that he was going to be an average-slightly above average Center in the NBA once fully developed, but he's rapidly improving to the point where its looking like he can be a top 8 Center in the future. He's improving at the rapid rate Big Al was developing at last year.
Good for Perk. I also wanted to see Perk back toward the end of the game.

I think that Wallace wasn't even in the league yet at the age Perkins is right now.. If Perkins continues to improve as he has done lately, he'll be THE fan favorite no doubt.

I'm very happy to see Perk finally getting PT and dominating (maybe I'm over-exaggerating on the dominating but whatever).
I have full faith in Perk that he can be as good as a taller Ben Wallace. He is going to be a very good center.
