Don't be surprised if another deal is made before, or at, the trade deadline.
Ainge was at courtside with Gorman and Tommy and was chatting away with them. He started talking about the trade and as the conversation went on, it shifted to any more potential trades. Ainge said, rather relaxingly, that nothing is really on the horizon, but he's listening and if something comes up before the deadline, something could happen (note: he didn't say this word for word, but along these lines).
During his talk, he mentioned that he really likes Tony Allen, Ryan Gomes, Orien Greene (said it rather matter-of-factly), and we already know that he likes Delonte West, Al Jefferson, and most likely Kendrick Perkins.
But who else is on the roster that is expendable? Raef LaFrentz? But his contract is huge and I don't know who'd want to take that on, especially with his knees.
Anyways, I just feel that there could be something brewing that could pick up steam as the end of february approaches.

I don't think this team can handle any more trade rumors. The C's seemed to get more distracted than the other teams in that regard.

I doubt there will be anything major, unless Chicago gets absolutely desperate for a big man and send us Thomas' expiring contract for Raef. More likely, Kandi's expiring deal gets traded or we buy him out. I read this morning that Kandi's agent has suggested to Ainge that if Kandi is not part of Boston's immediate plans, his client would prefer to be bought out or cut. This is fine by me, as I would hate to have Doc tempted to use him at the expense of Al or Perk.

Yeah, maybe Kandi is the one Ainge is going to try and move. Moving Raef would be a terrific move financially, but he looked good in the offense last night because he, Wally, and Delonte can stretch the floor and make it difficult for defenses to sag or load up on any particular player.
