The offense is really struggling right now for both sides. We just cannot find any shots out there. Celtics up 68-65.

Ugly game, but il take the win. MVP goes to delonte for his suffocating defense on bibby. That was really the key to the game. I know we were playing young guys with the second unit, but they need to find some offense somewhere. Their was no creator on the floor. Perk is a manchild, jefferson strong second half, and waly made a strong contribution considering the circumstances. Also props to raef for his points and rebounds. I still would like to see the ball go inside to perk and big al more. I just love wacthing them post up. Good effort overall, but we need to carry this on the road.

Q's post game report -
The Celtics used strong defense and rebounding to overcome a bazillion turnovers to solidly beat Sacremento who had a horrible game tonight.
My player of the game goes to Delonte West, who shut down Mike Bibby, really all by his lonesome. Sacremento struggles if Bibby is shut down. There were no other players to step up for Sacto while the Celtics had Wally Z, Raef, Jeff, Perk, and Pierce all as scoring threats.
The Celtics outrebounded Sacto by about two to one.
Ron Artest looked horrible tonight, probably has been to the night clubs in LA with Kobe.
Reefer showed why he is a career loser tonight, he just looked like he was going through the motions.
Brad Miller get lit up by the kids tonight. He may well be past his peak.
Sacto was kept alive by the Refs and Celtics mistakes. They simply had no business being this close.
Of course the Celtics have lots of opportunities for imrpovement but I am seeing quite a bit of capability. Wally Z is a much better player than RD.
Also Scalabrine did a good job on Sacto's big boys Reef and Miller.
Good win and frankly we shouldn't have lost to Washington Wednesday night but the Celtics looked very flat and the trade rumors distracted them.

28 boards from our starting front line (Perk 11, Raef 10, Pierce 7), very nice to see. Jefferson with 13 off the bench, and Wally with 10 on 50+% shooting. We certainly had more balance, and owned the glass tonight (it's nice to be able to say that, isn't it?).
We have now won 4 of our last 6 since Blount was sent to the bench, and Perkins is not only making us more solid underneath but is also scoring more often than not in double figures. And his 5 blocks were more than everyone else on both teams combined. Once our offense gets in better sinc we could very well be poised for a second half run at the post season.

Definitely a good game to go too. From what I seen out there: Wally is definitely an energitic type player and isn't as bad defender that people make him out to be. World class shooter that this team needs especially to open the paint for guys like Paul, Al, and Perk to make there prescence felt down there. I don't know about you guys but sometimes it felt like Pierce is a big time ball hot as he tries to go to the hoop on like 3 defenders. It's ironic Pierce couldn't do much of anything when artest was playing for him. But i think for the most part Artest's physical play was mostly him fouling pierce the whole time. Refs = Worthless. I swear I never seen poor officiating like I did at that game. So many balls knock off Kings players and they still end up getting the ball back. Not to mentino it seems like everytime Artest single to the ref that he should've called a foul on the play that hte ref end up giving a foul back to boston like the player ask the ref to call for it? The difference between having David and Wally on the team is that with Davis you're going to have a cluster of players huddling around the paint causing lack of offensive rebounds to occur. While Wally forces a defender to cover him around the perimeter so the paint opens up more for paul and other post players. BTW, Perk owned Brad Miller all day in the paint especially when miller is force to post up against him. If he takes him off dribble Perk has a little trouble trying to stay with him but for the most part he did a fantastic job both on the offensive end and the rebounding department. P.S. Kandiman is a joke especially when you see the guy shooting up airballs during the warmups. LOL God I hope Ainge cut him so we don't need to see his crappy play on the court.

I hvae been mildly surprised at the amount of PT that Scal is getting. Stats aren't much. But he seems to be a guy like Adrian Griffin, who is currently with the Mavs and getting rave reviews for how much he contributes.
