Wow, I like this new attitude from the team. Less individual playing and a lot more team effort. Its not directly because Ricky is no longer with the team, but because guys like Scalabrine, Gomes, Orien, and Tony got more playing time. They are guys who DO move the ball and usher team basketball.
Wally was very unselfish in his initial minutes. That's a good start. The last thing I wanted to see from him is ball hogging right off the bat.
Tony Allen, on the other hand, needs to be more selfish. He's always thinking pass, even when a shot is right there for him to take. Whenever he drives into the lane, he gets to the rim, but he's thinking too much about passing and that's why he babies his shot and misses short.
Gomes did very well in the first half. He really shows why he needs more minutes to develop his game. You can see that he WILL be an effective NBA player. His feel for the basket is easy to see, much like Jefferson--although Gomes is more polished with his foot work and body control.
Pierce didn't get much playing time, but I really don't mind. I saw a lot of good things from the other guys when he was on the bench and I think we need to build on that.
Orien had some sharp passes. He needs to be more direct with his dribbling and with his moves. He dances a bit and I think it holds him back somewhat.

Q at the half!
Celtics are playing pretty well, are agressive, but got bad breaks from the officials.
Sacremento grabbed a lead by virtue of free throw opportunities.
Wally Z stuffed Artest.
Nobody is boxing out Perkins and Gomes.
The personnel changes will dictate another warm up period and probably some more losses but hopefully, after the allstar break this team can put it together.

Perkins is PISSSED!!!!!
He got 4 fouls and was jonesed one of those calls.
These refs totally suck and it is not like me to say that.
Boston ought to be up 30 on these pathetic Kings.

Wow, this team is really looking like a new team. The crowd is just loving it. An we are totally playing unselfish basketball, every single player out there.
Perkins is making me swallow my words. He is "beginning" to look like a championship caliber starting Center (not yet ready to call him that--not yet). Could he get a triple double tonight? 11 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blocks so far.

Szerbiak draining those threes were the hilight of the 3rd quarter. How about Delonte's defense on Bibby?
Where would we be without Delonte? Hint: perhaps in 30th place in the NBA.

I love Perk I have thought since that first year, even when he didn't play that he was going to be something special. Glad to see it is finally coming about. West is playing great defense on Bibby. Only 4 points so far. Refs have been terrible. Absolutely terrible.
