Wow. KD joins Booker, Paul and Ayton in PHX. Not sure how much depth they have left but they should be right up there with the best of the West. We'll have to see what else goes down today before the deadline, but I think the chances of the Warriors and Lakers just took a hit.

There window is very small (Paul turns 38 this year) but my goodness if they can get healthy they'll be a handful. I'd have no beef with the Suns winning it all. That fan base is over due.

And my goodness where does Brooklyn go from here? they'll struggle to rebuild, because they own Houston a bunch of unprotected [HASH]1s from that Harden deal. And they're stuck with Simmons' giant contract. What a mess.

And they're stuck with Simmons' giant contract. What a mess. I think they will be a tredmill team for a while. Not good enough to win a championship, however not bad enough to secure a game changing player. I thought Marks fleeced PHX, because he received (2) very good young players, and a Durant (or even Booker) injury will happen which means (4) potential lottery tickets.

I think the real value of this trade for BKN will show up 2027-2029 when Paul will be in his 40's and likely retired and KD will be 38, 39, 40. Now, LBJ is still playing at a very high level at 38, but KD has been injured a lot in recent years, so I think it's less likely to see him playing that well at that age and beyond.

Getting all those picks and swaps from a team that old is huge. I was hoping Minnesota could've gotten in on it. KAT and Prince for Durant and Joe Harris, something like that. I don't the wolves would've had enough first rounders left to seal the deal.
