I've been following all these guys and thought I'd throw out an update on them.
Yam and Juhann are in Europe and other than the occasional highlight clip I'm mostly seeing box scores.
Yam doesn't isn't playing a lot of minutes and seems to have stalled at age 22. I don't see any one skill that he is great at. I've pretty much lost hope that he'll play for us in the NBA.
Juhann also isn't playing that much. Every once in a while he put together a big game, but mostly not. No doubt he has elite athleticism, but his shooting is still poor (under 28% from 3) and NBA wings need to be able to shoot. He's still only 20, so there's time, but don't count on him anytime soon.
I see JD regularly on TV/laptop and I think he's by far the most likely to get to Boston. What I see is great speed, quickness and athleticism, a terrific motor and excellent court vision. His shooting stats, from both 2 and 3, are pretty good, at 52% AND 40%, but I think he'll improve both as a finisher and as a deep shooter. The one thought that keeps coming into my mind is how good he'd be playing with Rob. He's elite at seeing where his teammates are and regularly find Kabengele for alley-oop jams. I can only imagine how effective he'd be with Rob as a target. When his handle gets a little better, combined with his quickness, he'll be blowing by people and then Rob's defender will be between a rock and a hard place. His biggest weakness - still - is that at times he's prone to turnovers, but he's improving.
He's coming off the bench as the 6th man, but he finishes most games. I wish he were playing more but maybe they're just protecting a young guy in his first pro season.
