I walked into the supermarket this morning and right in front of me were two flavors of Doritos, one with a picture of Tatum and the other with a picture of LBJ. I wasn't looking to buy Doritos today, but it got me thinking: Would I ever buy a product with LeBron's picture on it? And I'd have to say NO, not unless I really needed something and there was no alternative. I'm probably strange that way. You?

For me it would have to be someone that i find morally vile for me not to purchase a product. While I love rooting against Lebron, i have no fault with him as a man. By all accounts he's an A+ dad, and he's always given a lot of his time and money to his local communities.

Not if there were equally good or better alternatives. If no alternative it probably wouldn't stop me.

Several weeks ago, I walked by a product which Tatum endorses, and was thinking "does anyone actually buy a product a likeable player endorses?"

Evidently some do. I wouldn't. At least not because of the endorsement.

Evidently some do. I wouldn't. At least not because of the endorsement. Very true. I bought Mike Tyson's Punchout in the '80s, a Nintendo video game, because it featured Mike Tyson.
