12/11/22 - first sighting of snow; '1 inch. Can not be surprised, since it occurred the 1/3 of December, and I reside in CT. However, it does not have the same effect for me anymore, since I have been working from home the past 3-years, and I do not have that anxiety anymore if I my car will make it home safely.
Any snow? How much? Which state?

In Minneapolis we got a couple inches about a month ago, that mostly melted, then we got about half a foot about 2 weeks ago. that's slowly starting to melt, but it's gonna get to that point soon where it just stops ever getting about freezing. was up at my parents' place this weekend in ND, right by the canadian boarder. they've prolly got a about 10" so far, but it's all still there. there's drifts in their back yard about 18" high.

CT snow must be tea, and crumpets compared to Mid West states. I revised the snow, as '2 inches, all melted the same day. However, last night was the first real night of winter in CT, as the temp fell well under 20 degrees, and the heat turned on the ground level of my condo.

I got a dusting and scraping the car at 7am happens like every other day now. Last month when I met Fresh in MN I realized their early November is like my February. But on the other hand I don't think Mid Westerners are really tough with the snow. They just go from super warm houses to cars they warm up with fabs through the window. I'm way tougher with cold weather than they are. Facts are facts.

There is always a week, or 10-day stretch where the temperature is around 0, and if it snows it does not melt. However, these days, since I do not run nor commute to work, it does not bother me.
