I know it's no guaranteee will make the Finals again, as other teams have aimed to be better, and we don't know if injuries will hit us.
But thinking about the Finals against GSW, who I think will be in the Finals in 2023, we basically lost two games to them because 1) Tatum fell short (maybe fatigue), 2) our bench couldn't score, 3) our defense wasn't sharp.
Tatum WILL be back better than ever (he works too hard on his game not to imagine he'll improve). And guess what -- so will Jaylen and Rob!
Our bench got a major facelift, and already Brogdon and Gallinari are better and more consistent than anyone we had off the bench in last year's Finals. And guess what -- GWill WILL be better than last year (he made a significant improvement this season, and he knows what to work on this summer to be an even better role player). And Brad says we're likely to have another Big and Wing.
A healthy Rob is all we need to absolutely dominate like we did the second half of the year -- and resting this summer to completely heal his suergery is what he needed. And guess what -- we added Brogdon to the bench, which makes us even stingier unit.
I believe 2023 will be our year. Sorry to all the other 29 teams -- you all are playing for runner up.

What i like with this added depth is that even if we lose a major guy (excluded the J's) we can still make a run at it. Right now this team has 9 guys that i would absolutely trust to play 20+ minutes in a playoff rotation.
Teams that scare me the most are LAC and GS. If one or two of those young lotto guys make the leap for GS they are gonna be a problem. And if Leonard George and Wall can all stay healthy (a big if) they are gonna be a handful.

I don't believe in Kuminga as others do. Poole is fine, but not a star. Wisemen is a role player (though he can have big games here and there).
Like you said, there are 7 players RIGHT now who we can trust to play 20 minutes, and it could and should stretch to 9 with GWill and DWhite.
And whereas other teams' star players are in their prime or on the downside, the Jays are still ascending. When they reach their peak, I don't see any team pushing them off the hill.

I def believe in GWill and White, if we're only asking them to give us 20-25 good minutes.

Brad alluded to bringing in another big and wing.
If the wing is someone like Justin Jackson (or that level of player) it tells me that Derrick White will get most of Jaylen's minutes, and Pritch is in the mix for PG minutes that Smart and Brogdon aren't using.

I can agree with that. We need to be disciplined and execute this coming year.

I just didn't think it was discipline. I thought it was more like health and exhaustion. And Steph Curry playing extremely well.

Talking all the time is a huge part of who Grant is, but I find myself wishing he would just shut up sometimes.

Talking all the time is a huge part of who Grant is, but I find myself wishing he would just shut up sometimes. 90% of the team, including the coaching staff, feel this way 😂

Eja brings up the thing that always scared me about the Warriors. It's hard to win when the other team has the best player.

I guess if you consider turning the ball over every two seconds and not learning from that....I suppose that's sorta a form of discipline.

I guess if you consider turning the ball over every two seconds and not learning from that....I suppose that's sorta a form of discipline. The turnovers was maddening, which were compounded by timely threes on the other end. I think discipline is not making the same mistake every other play.
