Boston and Oklahoma matchup tonight at the Garden. We blew them out last time in Oklahoma as Blount played his one good game a month.
We need to win and keep fighting to get back to .500.
It will be a long uphill struggle.

Who would have thunk we'd be lower than the Hornets? Yuk. But that's what happens when team gets itself a top notch PG who can create for others as well as create for himself.
Hopefully Perk and Al gets a lot of playing time, and not this 15 minute junk that they got last game. After their good showing against the Wolves and the Nets (part 1), Doc takes away their minutes on Saturday night.
Tony Allen hasn't been playing much either, and in the meantime, both Pierce and Ricky continue to pile on the minutes. If Rivers is holding back Tony because of his knee, then I can see his logic. But Allen actually looks pretty good out there, and his "bounce" (or so he calls it) is looking like its coming back to him.
I'm a fan of David West (not to be confused with our Delonte West). He was one of the top draftees I wanted in the 2003 draft (I actually had him listed higher on my list than Perkins--who admittedly, wasn't really on my wish list). He's finally proving his game and I think its a big reason why the Hornets are improved. If you guys watch the game tonight, see if you also get the impression that Gomes will turn out like him. When I see Gomes, I think of David West and hopefully he can have a similar tiype impact when he finally makes himself a player in the NBA.
Well, game time is in an hour and a half. Hope the team is psyched up and ready to give a big fight tonight.

Because of the free preview, my FSN isn't blacked out. That is nice. i won't have to see all the advertisements for buying LP through the whole game LOL. I hope the good team shows up tonight. It is like we are two different teams. Hope to see lots of Perk and Al tonight!!!

Tonight marks the halfway point of the season. So I think it is a big psychological game for us.
It will be interesting to see how those minutes are divided tonight. This is the easier part of the schedule so we have to continue our winning ways at home.
Playing veterans who don't seem to give it their all is not acceptable.
If you play with no passion in this league, you will lose and be a bottom feeder. We were on our way to bottom feeder status. Perkins and Jefferson will keep us out of there.

1st quarter observations - inconsistent performance on both sides. We did a poor job on David West. Chris Paul is a very smart player, no wonder Danny Boy offered Pierce to Portland for that pick.
The Celtics seem a bit flat.

Thoroughly horrible basketball on both sides right now. Oklahoma is brickin' threes Antione style. Celtics are just not passing well.
Boston 27, Oklahoma 22.

Oklahoma goes on a 9-4 run playing great defense and ties the game at 31. They are simply outworking us. No spark whatsoever on the Celtics. None.
