Here are some of the players who will be on the team.

Love it. I'm especially happy to be able to see Yam, Juhann and Sam in expended play. I'd like to see Aaron play too.

Hey, Trevion Williams was on my wishlist to be drafted at 53!!
He'll be on our summer league team.
This big man can pass. Not quite on Jokic's level, but he's oretty crafty too.

How does the best passing and rebounding big man not get drafted? Is the NBA that senior-phobic?

How does the best passing and rebounding big man not get drafted? Is the NBA that senior-phobic? Good question. One thing is it is trendy now to go after bigs who play the perimeter and shoot three's. That's really not Trevion's game. I hope we are the team to buck the trend and start bringing the low post back into vogue.

I'm thinking a less defensive Horford.

A small move that can be a nice surprise. Bone is a nice player. At his best when he starts on the perimeter, darts in with a few dribbles, and then quickly pulls up into a long mid range. He can shoot at a good clip.
And undersized 2 who can play spot minutes at the 1.
Former teammate of GWill at Tenn.

I remember Kabengele from the draft a couple of years ago.
Seems like he added some bulk. Can hit threes. I don't know if I see high level processing.

Between Kabengele, Trevion Williams and Onuaku (they said he was going to participate), our coaching staff will get a chance to see if any of these bigs has what it takes to be with the team.

So it turns out that Yam Madar will not be playing in summer league and will be staying in Europe for at least another year. Staying overseas is expected to give him the best growth opportunity. celticswire.usatoday.com/2022/06/25/nba-boston-celtics-madar-to-chill-abroad/I'm neither surprised nor disappointed about the extra year in Europe but I did want to see him play for us in summer league. I guess this means more time for JD.

Nesmith had a change of mind and will now participate in the summer league. Good move on him. If his issue is knocking shots down in games, then he should play in games to shake off his issue.

Right. Nothing like doing it in game situations to regain confidence.

Nesmith is definitely at a cross-road. I liked Kabengale when he was drafted. Not so much now.
