Is it nonsense to think that losing the Finals might be the better thing to do for this team's long term success?
Winning the chip against a less than dominant Warriors team might make us a less hungry team going forward (you can't go much higher when you're on the top of the hill).
But losing the Finals could cause these guys to do some deep soul searching, make them determined not to make the same mistakes anymore.

Nonsense?

It’s too difficult to make it to a championship to even consider that option in my opinion.

Total nonsense. It could easily go the other way.

The way our guys have the tendency to get comfortable and not give their full effort (as Tatum admits happens, especially at home), I question their commitment to win.
I would think if Tatum (and who ever else coasts at times) was a part of the KG era teams, he would get constantly chewed out by KG.
Maybe losing the Finals will be that resounding wake up call that spurs us on to multiple championships.
But if we win the title this year, what incentive is there to change?

I'm not seeing a multiple championship roster at this point. I'm still not convinced that we have anyone who can be trusted to run the offense and get us a good shot when the defense ups their intensity.

I'm still not convinced that we have anyone who can be trusted to run the offense and get us a good shot when the defense ups their intensity. When we win, we win big. When we lose, we lose badly. We need consistency -- we need players who can be trusted on to produce.

True, and some of that is maturity, and some of it is skill level. I think we need more of both.

Actually, everyone on our roster except for Al and Theis have room for growth. That's how young we are!
Maturing their games and growing into their roles will gives us more consistency.
