At the end of June, we're bringing over Chinamu Onuaku for a workout. Onuaku is the big man for Israel's Bnei Herzliya of the Premiere League (where he was MVP this season).
He was part of our summer league team a few years back (most remembered for his underhand free throw shooting).
I don't see him as a starting caliber big -- but he does have intriguing skills and physical attributes.
He's 6'9" and strong as an ox. Not fast, but like a freight train once he gets forward momentum he builds up running speed (likes to get out in transition and finish).
He's a meat and potato finisher around the rim -- not flashy or sexy, but finishes at a good percentage.
Too methodical for my taste. Footwork is too slow.
He's a good rebounder due to his physicality and nose for the ball.
Amd he's a really good passer -- sees the floor well and delivers crisp passes to cutters and shooters on the perimeter.
If anything, maybe Brad is looking for a guy who can body up against Embiid.

He looks fast and quick enough to me to do some of what Al and Grant do for about 15 minutes. I was envisioning a slower smaller Enes Kanter, but he seems ok to me
