I think I'm ready to move on from Theis. Or make him an emergency big only. We need an upgrade over him.

Here's my maybe-not-so-bold prediction: once we figure out that playing with less than championship caliber intensity and focus won't cut it, we'll come prepared with the proper mindset to win every game.
If we've finally learned this lesson in last night's loss, then we'll win the next 3 games and be ready to defeat whoever comes out of the West.

I totally agree that the biggest upgrade we could make would be to play with the right mindset all the time. There are lots of other areas for improvement, but that one is [HASH]1.

Question is, do our core players have a deficiency here? Can they learn and be counted on to bring the right mindset every game?

We're about to find out.
There's no reason for us to be surprised by Miami's aggressiveness anymore. If we still don't show up mentally some hard questions are going to have to be asked. It's one thing to be beaten and another thing entirely to beat yourself.
I wonder if some of Jaylen's turnovers in Game 3 were caused by his realization that Tatum was not going to be of any help, and thinking that he had to make things happen himself, so he forced some things.
