I'm hoping for the Sixers to win because I want home court advantage for the ECF.

Just saw Embiid is out indefinitely with an orbital fracture and possible concussion. Apparently he was injured late in Game 6 with his team up 20+. Shouldn't have even been in the game probably.

What was Doc thinking? This will make it harder for PHI to beat the Heat. I wonder how long indefinitely will be. Just one game, the whole series?

I could see this costing Doc his job. Up 29 with 4 minutes to play and he has his star still in there? There's really no good explanation for this.

Even if maybe Embiid talked Doc into letting him play to drive his stats up, Doc should know better. But I'm not mad about this -- I'm hoping MIA takes this series, with or without Embiid.

Miami strikes first, beating PHI in game 1. With Embiid out, it was going to be hard for them to win, especially on the road.

I was more than a little surprised that it was close for as long as it was. No way Philly can beat Miami without Embiid. I don't think they can beat them even with Embiid.

Did you see a tiff between Maxey and Harden? I like that there's internal strife going on.

I didn't watch much. Saw it was close at the half and next I checked it was a blowout.

If parity is what the league wanted in the playoffs, then parity it is getting.
BOS / MIL, 2-2 MIA / PHI, 2-2 PHO / DAL, 2-2 MEM / GS, 3-1

I'm expecting Embiid to play as if he has a point to make after losing out on the MVP voting. It's a funny thing - that sometimes I find myself rooting for a team that I didn't expect to root for - in this case Philly. Maybe it's because I think MIA would be a tougher opponent for us, or maybe it's just that they fell behind 0-2, or maybe my dislike for everything Riley exceeds my disdain for the tanking Sixers. In any case, I find myself hoping they knock off the Heat. Oh yeah, we'd also get home court.

Yeah, I switched the rooting for the Sixers, thinking they'll be the easier opponent.

I can't help it. The Sixers are getting thumped, and I like it!!!
Go, MIA. We'll see you at the ECF.

Is Philly done?
There were smashed by 35 yesterday, and are down 3-2.

Good night, Philly and Embiid.
Is Doc's time in Philly coming to an end?
