He could really use a floater shot. There were numerous times tonight when he had the ball in the lane with Giannis in front of him and you could see he didn't want to challenge him, so he passed it out to the corner. A 10 foot floater would be unblockable and he should be able to knock those down pretty easily. And I'm sure he watched enough from Kyrie how to hone that shot. I agree, a floater will make him unstoppable.

Jayson Tatum finished 6th in the MVP voting (behind of Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Booker, and Doncic).
I think he can jump ahead of Luka and Devin next year.

Well put it this way...after watching Luka single handedly carry the Mavs, would you rather have Tatum or Luka? And same question, Tatum or Booker? For me, in all cases, I'd rather have Luka.

I think I'd take Luka too. Smarter player. More clutch.
I know there's talk about JT being an MVP some day, but frankly, I don't see it. Next tier down if you ask me.

Well, it's time for Tatum to show that he's got wide enough shoulders to carry his team to the ECF. If he wants to be great, he's got to play great.
Since he was young, he was being told he's going to be great (Beal). Then when he came into the league he was being heralded as a future star (Pierce). As he ascended, other stars were telling him they expect him to be MVP (Draymond, KD).
But he hasn't done anything yet! Prove yourself, JT.

Tatum has got to find more ways of scoring easier buckets. He's got to have a sweet spot he can go to where he scores efficiently.
Then you'll see him leapfrog Booker and Doncic.

I also think Tatum has the skills to be an elite perimeter defender. He's already very, very good.

Has tonight changed any of our minds? Or are we still seeing Luka over Tatum (aside from the Tatum's defensive advantage)?

JT certainly stepped up big in this one. Both guys now will be tested in a Game 7. Let's see how they do.
Is it fair to say this was Tatum's most impressive career playoff performance, given the stakes?

Has tonight changed any of our minds? Or are we still seeing Luka over Tatum (aside from the Tatum's defensive advantage)? I'll say this, that Tatum is above Booker in my book. Tatum does more offensively than Booker if you look beyond the scoring anf FG%. JT is one of our most important fascilitators and the guy we rely on in the clutch. Booker has Chris Paul to do those things. And we wont even touch the disparity on defense. JT should be above Booker in my book.

Still trying to figure out what Philly was thinking. Did they think LA was going to take Markelle at [HASH]2?

They were great at accumulating draft picks but not very good at using them.
