With Rubio, I'll always remember the stupidity of that Minnesota draft. 3 Point Guards in the first round. Constant failures by David Kahn over and over and over in every single draft he took part in. This is the guy that passed on so many star talents. Or the fact that they took TWO point guards right in front of Steph Curry. Unreal.

The name being floated around is Rubio. He plays average D, gets alot of turnover steals, can run the offense when Smart or JT needs a rest. Problem is his health. But if he stays healthy, hes a guy who could keep the momentum going off the bench with Pritch playing off ball. if Rubio is at that stage in his career where he's ready to play for a vet min deal, i'd def be intrigued. ive mentioned him a few times before, but i also think Avery Bradley would be a nice fit.

Never was a fan of Avery Bradley. His bball IQ was never anywhere near where it should've been. I'd gladly take Rubio over Bradley, but I'm hoping for someone better than Ricky. A veteran wing with size who defends well and can score some. They tried with Jabari and Juancho, but it didn't work. I'll bet Brad has a better idea who to target this summer.

I'd like to see them go after a full MLE player, but i have a hunch ownership may want to stay under the luxury tax line next season, because after that they will be over it for the foreseeable future (assuming we sign GWill). im thinking we may be limited to just vet min players.

If ownership sees our window is open right now, they'll pay whatever tax comes their way. These guys are fans just as much as us Celtics' fans. They want to see championships and more banners in the rafter.
