Why I STILL believe in this team?
Cause Giannis can go for 42 pts while JT shoots 4-19 for 10 pts and we still could've won this road game (I guess the refs couldn't find their whistle in time on that Smart non call foul).
As long as we play defense, we have a shot in EVERY game.

Yeah, that's the bright side, that Tatum could play so poorly and we still just barely lose, on the road. I'm going to say that whoever wins Game 4 probably wins the series.

I am having a hard time thinking the Celtics can beat both the Bucks and the refs. I'm optimistic this reffing was a one game thing and not a trend.

Why can this team win this series?
Because they do not give up. Fans may have given up, but the guys in the trenches did not. Hostile fans, biased refs, big deficit, unstoppable superstar -- don't matter to our guys.
This team has heart.

Game 5 is huge. When a series is tied 2-2, the team that wins Game 5 wins the series 82% of the time.
This team needs to be able to step on MIl's throat and close out the series.

Let's hope Al is still pissed off at Giannis.

Let's hope Al is still pissed off at Giannis. Let's hope he's still angry and has energy left in the tank. If we're down in the 4th quarter, someone needs to whisper in Horford's ear that they heard Giannis say he's softer than a My Pillow.

I believe in this team because we can win on the road, even with our back against the wall in an elimination game on the road (MIL had two shots to end the series, but couldn't do it).
I believe in this team because of our resiliency. How many punches have we taken in the mouth and gut, and still bounce back and keep fighting.
I believe in this team because we have role players who can step up and play big -- Horford, Smart, Grant, DWhite, Pritch all had their moments of timely contributions.

When Rob is roaming and blocking shots,
When Smart is playing smart, passing the ball and hitting shots in rhythm,
When JT and JB are doing their thing,
When Grant is playing like the Dork Knight,
When Pritch is htting clutch shots,
When DWhite and Theis are filling in the gaps,
And the team is playing a fine tuned defense,
There is not not a team in the NBA who can stop us.

Because every time they get knocked down, they get right back up.

I'm 93% onboard with this. My only reservation? GSW playing really well too.

We still need to get by the Heat. But I believe we match up well against the GSW. They aren't as physical as the Bucks or Heat.

Welcome, scceltic4life!
Yeah, we still have a lot of work to do vs MIA, but except for a short loss of composure in Q3 of Game 1 we sure look like the better team.
I thought the comments by Ime and others after Game 1 that we won 3 of the 4 quarters were kinda lame. But now that we've played two games and the Heat have still only won 1 quarter, and tied 2, it's starting to be a real trend.

And if the past proves anything, we have GSW's number. Marcus, Jaylen and Tatum were a part of the team that ended the Warriors' historic win streak (on their floor, no less). Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but what this team has proven time and again since January/February is that we are an offensive and defensive juggernaught, at home or on the road. If we are right, no team can beat us in a 7-game series.

The Warriors definitely showed a weakness when Memphis finally realized they had a size advantage with Adams and Jaren Jackson. If they played big and had Ja available, that series could have gone differently. I see us needing to use our size to force GS to match up against us rather than playing down to their small ball style.
