Who would've thought we'd be the [HASH]2, ahead of the defending champs MIL and PHI, after the rollercoaster first half of the season we had?
Now we wait to see who our first round opponent will be. If BRK beats CLE in the play-in game, then we'll be facing Durant and Kyrie. If BRK loses, then we play the Cavs.
The BRK vs CLE game will be on tuesday.

Well, it won't be as easy a path if we have to play the Nets, but even without Rob it's doable. Did MIL duck the Nets?

No, MIL would have had one more win than us if they had won today.

No, MIL would have had one more win than us if they had won today. You're right. I think we have a good shot to advance to Round 2. Our defense can neutralize Durant and Kyrie by clamping down on the rest of their team, and our offense can expose the weaknesses they have defensively.

At this point I'd say Tatum and Durant are basically a wash. Even if you give Durant an edge, it's not by much.
And when I look at the rest of the two teams I think a good case can be made that we're better - even without Rob.

Watching Brooklyn today..they scraped out a win via the Cavs. Kyrie got hot early but the Cavs clawed back. And Kyrie certainly didn't have a DPOY candidate guarding him. I hope Rob comes back soon but I still feel confident even without Rob.
However I do hope our bench improvements carry over to the playoffs. Guys like Pritch and White will need to provide an offensive boost to force Kyrie/KD to keep playing large minutes and wear them down.

We need our 9-10 man rotation playing like a single organic unit.

It's on, now. Let that be fuel for the fire. JT, JB, GWill, Smart -- you can't let Bruce Brown get away with that. Let that burn you up, let it gnaw at you. How dare they disrespect our elders like that. Unleash all fury on these pretenders. Hit em so hard that they cower back to their holes. Sweep them!!

With Bruce Brown saying this, and with hatred for Kyrie still strong, I bet the Garden is going to be LOUD!
