No matter how much he improves, Jaylen Brown, right or wrong, seems to be portrayed as Tatum's sidekick.
This year, in spite up putting up very respectable numbers, Jaylen didn't make the All-Star team, even as an injury reserve player (Jarrett Allen was chosen to replace the injured James Harden).
Jaylen can't get a break.
With him enterting his prime in a year or two, will he look around to see where he can to be the star of his own team?

I think a lot of it depends on if they're winning. If they are winning, i think he'll stay. He seems like a pretty laid back dude, and his basketball legacy isn't the only thing that's important to him. Plus, him and Tatum seemed to be tight off and on the court.

The only way Jaylen stays content with being Tatum's sidekick is if Tatum proves to the team that he is the alpha and starts playing MVP-level basketball. Because thats when you realize that you're with a winner.. and im thinking about the likes of Khris Middleton who was pretty good in his own right but he could see that the Greek Freak was a hall of fame calibre top 50 all time player.
