I remember during the draft process thinking that Woodard looked like a solid prospect.

As did I. Strong bodied wing with a stroke.
Brad probably won't bring in anyone of significance.
I'll be happy riding out the season gaining chemistry and experience. And then the summer! I want to see what Brad does to set up the team for a dynastic run.

Agreed. I think this summer is going to be huge for the future of this team. Al's semi-expiring deal needs to get used in a trade of some sort (tho I'll b sad to see Al go). I love Smart, but i think he also needs to be moved to either bring in some young cheap talent or as part of a trade to bring in a star. If a star player doesn't come available, i'd like to see us add another near-all star caliber wing (tatum can play the 4) or an a long athletic 4 (think John Collins or Jonathan Isaac).
I think we may be able to use the full MLE this summer. If so, I'd love to see us work out a buyout option with Houston and sign John Wall to a 3 year/30 million dollar deal. I'd love to see him surrounded by athletic bouncy players. Wall running pick and rolls with RobWill and Theis would be Lob City 2.0. And while not a great outside shot, he can definitely hit open looks from 3, and he's a plus perimeter defender and he finishes at the hoop like few guards can. Heck, even look at his highlights from last year in Houston. Dude still has game. He's no longer a face of the franchise guy, but he can definitely be the 3rd or 4th best player on a championship team.

That's outside the box thinking, Fresh. Wall's always been a high assist PG, but can he fit in with Udoka's Point Five scheme? Will the ball stick in his hands? Can he thrive off the ball?

Brad says what he's looking for in a buyout player is a wing who can guard multiple positions and can be a plug in 3-D player.
Maybe that's why he nabbed Kelan Martin and Malik Fitts. They both fit that mold.
We can look at the buyout list and see which players have these traits.
