Hard to say with only 2 games played together, but can the starting 5 of Smart-DW-Jaylen-Tatum-Rob eventually (when all are in their primes) be championship caliber?
This is a stellar starting unit defensively, and has a chance to be a big threat offensively with the Jays and a highly complementary Derrick White.

I don't think so, but it's darn good. I think DW and Smart are too redundant. I think I'd still like to see smart moved in the off-season. I want a guard that is either an elite shooter or an elite creator.

I'd wonder if we have enough shooting, with Smart, White and RWill out there together. It's hard to say for sure because several guys are shooting below their career averages, including Tatum.

I hear you guys. Smart out there with DW sounds really good from a defensive standpoint, but having a a better shooter could benefit us more.
Need a good defender / shooter who makes right decisions quickly.

Could we hang 7 games with the Bucks or a full strength Nets? I don't think so. To me, Giannis and KD are guys I'd bet the house on. Tatum still gives me worries he'll go 6-22 on a Game 7 night. I don't feel the same level of confidence to call this team a championship contender.
