I was thinking about "You can call me Al" Horford. Just seems like a cool dude. On a young team he's a good influence that way. He has been underrated his entire career. Was a top 3 center at one point. I don't know if he's that now but he still is a good player to have around. Since we have gone with a bigger lineup and he has been playing regularly every game we are the best defense in the NBA.
I don't know if this belongs here or in the celtics board, but if we make trades and are looking for a good roleplayer who would you suggest? DA found James Posey off the scrap heap. Who are some other ones? Feel free to move this topic if you want.
I think Jrich is becoming that for me as well. So I'm not sure we even need that. Bradley Beal has always had a cool dude persona too so even if we trade Al I'm not too worried about it. I don't know if Bradley Beal is underrappreciated but he kind of is being one of the best scorers in the NBA. He doesn't seem to get the hype of some of these other guys.
I think the Celtics are chalk full of these kind of guys as it stands from Smart to Tatum to Jaylen to all of them really and I'd want to build my team that way anyways.
