Ok, so RWill Tatum Jaylen Beal ?? (Smart?) I could buy into that lineup, especially if we can get a better PG than Smart. But Smart could work too, if he becomes the type of PG we need him to be. I'm struggling to see that lineup working. Looks good on paper but lack of possessions, speed of play, clashing playing styles..a good coach has to come in and make it work. OR it takes unselfish behaviour the way Lebron, Wade and Bosh bought into their system and accepted lesser roles than they each had before they joined the Heat. The latter is what I'm banking on. I think Tatum has respect for his big brother Beal and will gladly play the role of really talented little bro. Brad plays the most aggressive of the three and will naturally take pressure off of the Jays. Question is, will Jaylen be ok with being the 3rd fiddle?

I think Tatum is our guy regardless. If Beal comes here he will probably come off the bench. It's Tatum, and Jaylen's team and Smart too really. Beal would be coming into that..
Before any deal is made the celtics need to get their core in order and that's what they are trying to do. Beal is an all star and would be a leader on this team regardless. T atum is still growing. But I still think Beal comes off the bench and plays a leadership role that way.

Horford is really our big brother right now. Grant Williams is being groomed to take over his spot because Horford might now be here very long. It all depends but Beal would basically take his role. There is still is no onus like we have to make a deal or what that deal even is at this point.

I like that starting lineup, depending who the PG is. No one on that list is a bad defender. you have three guys that can take over a game offensively. None of them have any known locker room or off the court issues.

I don't think anything is set in stone yet. But basically yeah that's a lot of offensive firepower that can score a lot regardless of who starts and doesn't. Or who our pg is. In order for it to happen they may still try to keep everyone too but more than likely it's horford or Smart. I think Smart is the latter of the two. Brad said he was shopping horford but you have to read between the lines.
This trade may not even happen. But I think everything is on hold until it dies.
