www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA-NNydsCYoReally watch these highlights. Tatum is as capable of hitting shots as he's ever been. He's facing double and triple teams. He's gaining "experience" right now. Yes he is improving. He's getting ready to take on the world.

Remember early in his career when he would force it aroudn the rim and clank shots? Dude is a monster now. Jaylen has come a long way too. His assist numbers are down slightly because the team has less scoring outside of him and jaylen. They need a couple other guys in there. He doesn't have Kemba and Hayward anymore. Robert Williams and Smart are really fine too. They just need a couple other guys in there. Horford and Schroder are alright but not really cutting it. Romeo still has to grow. Williams is still growing. Smart it's his first year at point. He's hitting his prime next year probably.
The internet is looking at this wrong I'm telling you. They aren't the brightest tacks in the shed. People are inherently selfish and their iqs aren't great either. Gary Tanguay much? lol. I get it but really. The real bullies are not me.
Williams is still improving as a passer and scorer around the rim. Smart is fine. We need a couple other guys in there. Romeo is still young. We don't necessarily need to trade him. I would look to dump Schroder and Horford to a team looking to clear cap that has a nice young player they don't want to pay. Derrick White is on a 4 year 70 million dollar deal. A player like that a team may be looking to clear cap. Let them be stupid not us. Josh Giddey. Conley isn't bad. OKC has some guys. Cleveland. Dallas. Orlando. We have scorers. It can go either way. We can clear cap to sign Beal or they can.

I think Conley would be good if we are getting Beal. Conley by himself is more of the same. I'd rather Conley over Schroder if we are adding another big time scorer like Beal. Or another couple pieces. Conley isn't terrible. I've thought about him myself at one time or another. I don't know if we need that much scoring. Tatum is a monster. It depends how it fits. Even with Brown. He can replace Smart in ways or we can trade him but again it depends how it all fits.
Conley is a good pg to have if we have a ton of scorers who can keep them in check because he's experienced. So is Smart though. Conley would be a good option if we are moving Smart or not. It all really depends.

I think Tatum is still improving though yes. He's a step below the Durants and Doncic's of the world as it stands but still can improve. I really think the sky is the limit with him at this point. I am a believer. He has more upside than Pierce ever did as a natural scorer. Pierce played harder and was fundamentally sound but his upside was not near Tatum. Tatum is still raw somewhat which is crazy.
Giannis is a monster. Doncic is like Larry Bird out of the box but has reached his ceiling already. Tatum is still raw. Tatum could potentially surpass Doncic. Doncic is more skilled right now but doesn't have the length or athleticiam Tatum does. Tatum is still growing into his body.
HIs upside is greater than Pierce or Paul George. I don't know if he'll ever be the passer Doncic is but he will improve there too. I think he will surpass Pierce and George ultimately.

Hmm Doncic will have some limitations athletically but I can't see Tatum reaching his level of court vision, playmaking, and the ability to find ways to score when his shot isnt falling. Whereas with Tatum...and hopefully this changes... when his 3p shot doesnt fall, he keeps trying and trying to the detriment of the team. Is Tatum basically going to be stuck at Paul George's level? Or is there another aspect of his game that has yet to emerge? We'll see..
