Sam Jones died today at age 88. He was my favorite player as a young kid. I loved his trademark bank shot. I've always thought he was the most underrated Celtic great, and I believe it's because he was never about stats, only about winning. Fortunately, those in the know appreciated his game and he was on both the 50 year and 75 year NBA teams.
