Rob William's knee tendinopathy vaults him to stardom. That's what it seemed on opening day when Rob put up 16-10-5-3 with only giving up one foul with him clearly not having his great hops and explosiveness. And maybe that's the key for him -- slow down and not do too much.

Man, I'd love to see him develop a post game. Some McHale type moves, starting with a simple jump hook. Then build off that with the up and under.

Him hitting his free throws got me excited.
He could be a nice offensive contributor, with or without McHalesque moves 😁

Honestly right now, if he just focuses on 4 key areas he is going to give us a huge impact.
- Defensive rotations when the opposing team sets a screen or pick - Baseline cutting to the hoop for the easy alleyoops or putbacks - Noticing the open man for the pass (which he actually does pretty well) - Boxing out strong
We have enough offense to go around but not enough easy buckets

This early display by Rob is exciting. He's being a factor on the boards, blocking shots at the rim, getting steals, hitting his jumper and free throws, and is utilizing his passing from the high post.
He's indeed having a breakout season so far.

kinda nailed it in doing too much but that is an intelligence thing. the guy just is too rash and will have to adjust his game or be out of the league for me.
