It's time once again to Make Your Predictions!
How many wins?
How many points does Tatum average?
How many assists per game will the team average?
Who will be our top 6th man?

This is hard because we had so much turnover this off-season. I feel like we have a better and deeper roster than last year - especially the bench - but that we've barely seen them play together yet so I don't have a feel of how well the pieces fit together.
I think we'll be better defensively, our core of young players should all continue to improve, and we have a better, more veteran bench. I'll say 46 wins, but I won't be shocked if it's 50 or more.
JT will average 28 PPG.
The team will average 26.0 APG.
Schroder will be 6th man.

- 48 Wins (and we qualify as the 5th seed behind the Nets, Bucks, Heat, and Hawks). Calling it now that the Sixers will implode and they'll drop to a play-in team. - Tatum will average 26.5 PPG because a healthy Jaylen and better pieces like Horford and Schroeder will prevent him ascending to 30 PPG. Coach will force him to be a better playmaker and you'll see his APG go up to 5.5 APG.
- Definitely think that as a team we will see our APG go up..I'm thinking 25.5-26 APG which will be amongst our higher marks over the past few seasons.
- Pritchard will be our top 6th man

I think added muscles will help Tatum. Durant is a different beast altogether. He is more perimeter oriented than Tatum and that's always been the biggest lartnof his game. Tatum takes it to the hole more often than Durant. The added bulk will give him more confidence to take it strong to the basket (like the baseline drive he had against PJ Tucker in the MIA game -- a skinnier Tatum would have thought twice about it).

I'm going to say 53 wins.
Tatum averages 28-8-6.
As a team we average 27 apg.
I want to say that Schroder is our top 6th man, but I'm thinking he might start in place of Smart at some point.
Edit: Ok, I'm onboard with Schroder being 6th man. He's going to counted on to be a key offensive facilitator off the bench.

How soon do you think it will be before Udoka wants better shooting in the starting lineup? Maybe put in Pritch or Nesmith at SG (or Pritch at PG and move Smart to the bench or to another team).

Its only 1 game but I'm not feeling confident about my prediction in one of our other threads that Nesmith would be a crucial piece. He looked lost last night.

It's only Year 2 for Nesmith, and he displayed positives toward the end of last year and in the preseason. He'll start looking better for sure.
