Which team will show up for this game? The very efficient team that nearly took out the mighty Dallas Mavericks, or the very disappointing team that nearly loss to the lowly Atlanta Hawks?
I expect Pierce to put up his regular 25+ pts, I expect Delonte to be his normal all around, sharp shooting self, and I expect Blount's game to be dictated by how early they give him the ball on offense.
Iverson is going to be tough and get his lion's share of scoring opportunities, as will the quickly deteriorating Chris Webber. We must not let Iguodala, Korver, and Dalembert go off on us and be the difference in the game.
This game will be televised on ESPN2, for those of you who didn't know, so I expect to see a lot of posting of your thoughts on the game, and on the team.
And Esco, please do us all a favor and go for a walk while the Celtics are playing, since you seem to be the jinx ;D
GO CELTICS!!!

I really hope the "Jeckyll" teams show up tonight. They really do play like two totally different teams!!!
We can't let Korver start bombing 3s as we have gotten beaten from the outside several times this year. We have to respect the fact that this team can hit the 3 and stay on them on the perimeter. We need more Perk tonight. Unfortunately, we will probably see more Veal and he hasn't proven he can rebound or give us the inside presence that Perk does. We know that Blount and Raef don't but they seem to get more minutes than Perk every game.
I really hope they come out strong tonight. This is a division rival and they need to win this game.

i hope that perk gets more than 19 rebounds this time Doc has to play him more than 10 minutes.... If Doc gives him minutes, I have no doubt that he will have a great night.

I think Scalabrine will get a chance to build upon his solid game on Tuesday, but as always, he's on a short leash. If he's doing well, he'll stay on the floor a bit longer. But as soon as he starts becoming a bystander or a hazard, or if Doc wants to go bigger, Scalabrine will be out of there.

And Esco, please do us all a favor and go for a walk while the Celtics are playing, since you seem to be the jinx ;D Sorry guys, I probably will catch at least part of this game. But do not fret...The Celtics have won some of the games that I have seen before. It's just that they won all of the games that I have missed. But we don't believe in any of that superstitious stuff, right guys? We just worship a team that's main character is a leprechaun as well as named after a group of people that believe strongly in luck. But we don't believe in any of that silly superstition, right guys? Anyway...look for AI part 2 (Iggy) to have a pretty good game unless T Allen or Ricky can stop him or slow him down. Look for T Allen as well as Greene to be out on AI part I (the answer) . Banks is in the doghouse. This is a winnable game..................as long as I do not watch it. Seriously, we should win this game. If they play anything like they did against Dallas, maybe we can actually get a decent 10 point win. ;D

Since this game is on ESPN2 and everyone can watch it, I won't do the play by play but will still be here chiming in with my opinions on what is going on

Perk is looking GOOD!!! 2 offensive rebounds and a put back already. Hearing Walton rattle on and on isn't my idea of good announcing. They are shooting well so far. We could use a little better defense as Philly is getting too many easy baskets early.

Is anyone else tired of listening to Walton yet? I sure am. We need to play better defense. Perk is playing very well so far but I just know that Doc won't let him play. I would love to see Jefferson come in for Raef and leave Perk on the floor.

Pierce having a tough shooting night so far. Only 1 of 5. We need him to get it going as we won't win without his scoring. Our defense still pretty weak!!!

Terrible pass by Blount ... and pierce just watched it go by. We aren't boxing out and letting them get right to the basket for put backs. Turnovers already not good. Perk still playing well.

Perk was playing great so Doc sits him for Blount who comes in and turns the ball over on two successive possessions. grrrrrr And he travels again...

Defense looking much better. Ricky's shot looks good tonight. He is shooting the lights out. Sure hope we keep this up. Greene is looking good. I really like this kid. Give him time and he is going to be a good PG.
